They know how to party in Lafayette!

Well I used to think I could party with the best of them, then I went to the GWRRA District Rally in Lafayette, LA and learned I am just a rookie! These Goldwingers partied late late into the night and then were up and ready for breakfast at 6:30 am! Now let me be clear, the only reason I was up at both 2:30am and 6:30am is because I had a sick 4 year old that had to be taken to the emergency room. My baby is doing much better now. For the record though we were trying to go to bed at 10 pm!
I love history and always enjoy learning about new areas that we travel to. There is so much to learn in Cajun country and WOW, what a Mardi Gras party they throw! They definately are the real thing. I would recommend going to a rally just as soon as you decide you are ready for fun!

It started to rain on everybody the last day we were there. I know that everyone that left in there Cruiserboots were happy because their feet were dry for the ride home. Which makes me think about another thing I really like about Wingers; they don't mind a loooooong trip to support their own. It took Cruiserworks 17 hours to get to Lafayette, LA from NC. We were in trucks. I met more than one person who came over 1000 miles on their bike just for the 3 day event! That is dedication and support.
